Mr. Caniff is a Managing Director of Periculum Capital Company, LLC and head of the Firm's debt capital markets practice.

Prior to joining Periculum, Mr. Caniff was a Managing Member and founder of a private equity fund whose primary purpose was to acquire historically profitable small and middle-market

companies in basic industries, such as manufacturing, distribution and services. During this period he was instrumental in the acquisition of three manufacturing companies.

Mr. Caniff spent the first part of his career in corporate banking. His last position was Vice President of The Provident Bank. While with The Provident Bank, Mr. Caniff was responsible for developing $100 million in outstanding loans in the first year and a half of operations in addition to day-to-day management responsibilities associated with co-founding the Indiana division of the bank.

Prior to The Provident Bank, Mr. Caniff served nearly a decade in commercial banking with two leading institutions, Bank One and First Chicago/NBD. Mr. Caniff received his BA in Economics from Indiana University.
