In addition to his work with Periculum, Mr. Smith is a Principal in Smith Equity Partners, a private investment firm focused on growth equity investments.   Previously, he was CEO of Author Solutions, Inc., a multi-national self-publishing company that experienced substantial growth under his leadership. He was a partner and continues as a venture partner in Gazelle TechVentures where he identified, managed and exited numerous high growth technology and healthcare investments. He was a consultant with Andersen Worldwide and B. Smith & Company, Inc. where he worked with both Fortune 500 and entrepreneurial companies helping them design market strategies and improve and grow operations.
