Periculum Hires Chris Black, Director. Periculum Capital Company, LLC is pleased to announce that Mr. Christopher A. Black has joined the firm as a Director. Mr. Black’s role with Periculum will be to assist clients with mergers and acquisitions, financings, and capital structure related projects.
Mr. Black most recently served as the Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of American Commercial Lines (NASDAQ: ACLI), a $1 Billion transportation and manufacturing company headquartered in Jeffersonville, Indiana, where he was responsible for all finance, accounting, treasury, risk management and investor relations functions. While at American Commercial Lines Mr. Black was instrumental in taking the company public and raising over $1 Billion of debt and equity financing. During his tenure the equity value of the company increased from $100 Million to over $1 Billion. Prior to American Commercial Lines Mr. Black was Vice President and Treasurer of Lafayette, Indiana based Wabash National Corporation (NYSE:WNC), a $1 Billion transportation manufacturing company, where he was instrumental in leading a successful out-of-court restructuring. Prior to Wabash National, Mr. Black spent twelve years in corporate banking.

Mr. Black received his undergraduate degree in Psychology from Wabash College and his MBA in Finance from Indiana State University.
